“Rio Ferdinand condemns Glazers for suffocating Man Utd and predicts club will fail to secure crucial striker signing”
RIO FERDINAND has slammed the Glazers for suffocating Manchester United with negativity.
And legend fears his ex-club will miss out on their priority summer signing of a new striker because of their American owners.

Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos Group have submitted their final bids to buy United.
But the Glazers have yet to make a decision despite the club being put up for sale last November.
Ferdinand fumed: “The club is being held back and down and suffocated with negative energy because of the owners.
“I’ll keep stressing that the lack of communication from them has been very short-sighted.
“No news is bad news when you are talking about fans and emotions.
“This is when hysteria hits the ceiling and through the roof.
“Fans are uptight and anxious about new signings already. Are we able to sign our priority, which is a striker?”
Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen of Napoli are targets — both are valued at £100million-plus by their clubs.
Ferdinand added: “I’d love one of those two players to come to Manchester United. They guarantee you 20-30 goals or more.
“But they will have a lot of questions that can’t be answered about the ownership of the club.
“If we go into the season without signing a new No 9, I’ll be watching Manchester United with my hands over my eyes.”
