Moiben Residents in Ruto’s Home County Join Azimio Anti-Ruto Demonstrations in Ongoing Development

Happening now as Moiben residents from Uasin Gishu County(the home county of the head of state President William Ruto) have joined Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga’s anti-Ruto demos that have started in several parts of the country despite the police ban on such demonstrations
According to the information shared by Azimio, they have received a phone call that Moiben residents are now demonstrating in Moiben town.
In Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Kisii, and Nyamira among other towns, demos have already started with police officers spotted in these towns to deal with the demonstrators.
Raila and other Azimio leaders have not yet come out to lead the protests as all eyes will be at Kamukunji Grounds where Odinga is set to address a rally of his supporters who will be gathering at the venue.
Raila had yesterday launched the Tumechoka Citizen Initiative portal which seeks to collect signatures from Kenyans to delegitimise Ruto’s administration.
